On Tuesday 5th of October, we went to Dinard by bus at the British Film Festival of Dinard. We were accompanied by our teachers : Mrs Simeon, Mrs Marcon and Mr Guyot. We saw the film entitled « The Keeper ». This film tells the extraordinary love story between a young English woman and a German prisoner of war after WWII in a city near Manchester, in the north of England. Together, they overcome prejudice, public hostility and personal tragedy. We all liked the film ! We found it touching and dramatic at the same time. The love story between Bert (the German Soldier) and Margaret (the English woman) is cute ! We also liked this film because it talks about football and the beginnings of the very famous Football club : MAN city and its German goalkeeper Bert Trautmann.
